The long-standing hope for safe, speedy, and high-quality travel for the citizens of Thane and Mira-Bhayandar is now moving closer to becoming a landmark achievement. Shri Pratap Sarnaik envisioned the Thane Metro project nearly 15 years ago, and today, that vision is finally taking shape. This development stands as a moment of immense pride for the people of Thane, made possible through persistent follow-up with the government and the unwavering trust placed in him by the public.

To initiate the Dahisar–Kashigaon Metro line, Shri Pratap Sarnaik made several determined efforts. He repeatedly visited the Ministry, staged peaceful protests when necessary, and strongly presented the sentiments of Mira-Bhayandar residents in the Assembly. Every step taken ensured that the voice of the people was heard and acted upon.
